Achilles' heel

Explanation: What is an idiom?

a weakness that could result in failure.

Context:

-I wish I were like you. It seems there's nothing that you can't do!

-Oh, darling! Nobody's perfect. Have you ever seen me in the kitchen? That's always been my Achilles' heel. I can't prepare a single meal without burning or over seasoning it!

-Didn't you bake that marvelous cake for Sarahs birthday last week?

-Haha, I wish! I ordered it from our local bakery! I could never create anything like that!

Notes:

There is an ancient Greek myth of a boy named Achilles whose mother made immune to attack by submerging him in a sacred river - the only problem was that she held him by his heel, which later meant it was his 'weak point' as it was the only part of his body that didn't touch the water.
